Your first training bra - it's the first time you FEEL like a woman.  The first time you KNOW you're different from the guys. Now find out what they're really all about.
While the primary function of female breasts is to nourish a baby, they have been a symbol of beauty, eroticism and femininity since time immemorial. You can't blame Madison Avenue and Hollywood for that. What they can be blamed for is the emphasis placed on size and perfection. Size and shape is variable, probably the most variable of any body part. Not only does it vary from woman to woman, but it varies both throughout a woman's lifetime and throughout her monthly menstrual cycle.
Breast tissue is hormonally sensitive, especially to estrogen. Size does not influence the amount of milk you can produce and size definitely does not influence your sexual ability for arousal or response. You cannot enlarge the size of your breasts with exercise because there is no muscle tissue within the breast.   So-called 'bust enhancement creams' will not enlarge your breasts either so don't waste your money.  The size of your breasts were determined at your conception (It is genetically determined - so blame Mom and Dad if you're not happy with them.). The ONLY way to change the size and shape of the breast is by surgery.  Each breast is also two different sizes in each woman.  Sometimes this is very noticeable, other times it's not.

Breast Anatomy and Structure
Located on the front of the chest, the breasts are milk-producing glands. Each breast, divided into lobes, are supported by fibrous tissues and fat, and contain nerves, blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and clusters of milk producing glands. The ducts of all the milk glands end at the nipple.
The darker, pigmented area around the nipple is called the areola. Nipples are supplied with an abundance of nerve fibers making them sensitive to touch. Small muscle fibers cause the nipples to become erect when stimulated by cold temperature, breast feeding, and sexual arousal.  You should learn about your own breasts by touching or stroking the nipples lightly then increasing the intensity.  If this exercise doesn't give you any pleasure, then your breasts are not an erogenous zone (sexually arousing or pleasure giving area ) for you.  For some women, touching the breasts is extremely arousing.  For others it's not.

Important Information and Tips
You can help to avoid 'drooping' or 'sagging' breasts by wearing a good supportive bra, especially during pregnancy and exercise. This will not guarantee that your breasts won't droop at all when you're seventy, because of the hormonal influence on breast tissue, but it will significantly lessen it.

Every woman should do a breast self exam once a month and have one done by your care giver yearly. It is your best defense for early detection of breast cancer.
