| Brief
Bio of Dr. Bovo:
Dr. Bovo has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for over 26 years. A graduate of Penn State Medical School Hershey and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania OB/Gyn Residency program, she had a private practice in New York City, where she was also an associate clinical professor. Dr. Bovo served as Chairman/Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Director of Labor and Delivery at Noyes Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bovo is active as a child abuse reform and domestic violence reform advocate on a national level. As the author of 8 books for women, she has also written magazine and newspaper columns and articles, appeared on national news and talk shows, and has lectured to physicians nationally. Her latest book, Men Pomegranates and Menopause will be available in e-book format by April, 2013. Dr. Bovo has chosen to return to her hometown to practice. With her medical office in New Castle, she will admit patients to Heritage Valley Medical Center, Beaver Campus (Beaver Valley Medical Center). |
